The staff went above and beyond to make my stay exceptional, the facilities were like a fancy hotel, and the cleanliness was top-notch. Truly a WONDERFUl experience!

Oh, just a minor thing. no designated Women's Restroom and sugary pastries, but who needs those, right?

The facilities were clean and modern, with a pool and hot tub available. The staff, particularly Corey, Jay, Estella, and Ryan, were accommodating and fun to be around. The location was great, with plenty of street parking and stores just around the corner.

The shared bathroom had a gym-like smell, so wearing flip flops or feet covering is advisable. Sharing a room with men resulted in a room smelling like feet and funk.

Amazing rooms, friendly staff, superb kitchen amenities, beach equipment for rent, activities for solo travelers, quiet property.

Felt privileged, no complaints whatsoever.

The hostel had a wide range of facilities, including surfboard and bike rental, a swimming pool, yoga mats, and a jacuzzi. The kitchen and common areas were spacious and well-equipped, and the breakfast provided was perfect. It really felt like a home away from home, making it a great choice for long-term stays. the rooms were spacious and the shared bathrooms were kept clean.

The location, as it was not very central and it was best to have a car for convenience. However, there were still some supermarkets nearby.

We had a wonderful stay at a hostel in Ocean Beach. the spaciousness was perfect for relaxation, and the kitchen had all the basic appliances needed for cooking. the cleanliness was outstanding, although the smell of chemicals was a downside. the hostel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, with a special shoutout to Marcella for her warm welcome. We were impressed by the large lockers and thoughtful curtains on the bunk beds. the location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and nearby grocery stores. it was the best hostel we've experienced, and we appreciated the effort put into making it ideal.

The breakfast at California Dreams Hostel - Ocean Beach was a simple yet satisfying start to the day. Bagels, cereal, and fruit were available, and while it wasn't extravagant, it provided enough fuel for the morning. Additionally, the cooking facilities were excellent, offering convenience for those who preferred to prepare their own meals.

Although there were a few drawbacks, such as occasionally chilly rooms at night, the staff provided additional blankets to ensure comfort. Additionally, while there were some negative experiences mentioned in the database, they were not encountered during our stay.

Had an amazing stay at a well-organized and clean hostel. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We rented bikes for the day which was a great way to explore. the property was quiet and the shared bathroom was clean. Enjoyed the evening activities organized by the hostel, perfect for solo travelers. A bit of a walk to the beach, but manageable. a 5-star experience!

From the pool and hot tub to the TV in the room and included breakfast, the hotel facilities were top-notch. The location was also great, close to the downtown area and conveniently close to the airport. the staff, cleanliness, facilities, and location made my stay here amazing.

We had a fantastic stay at this hostel. It immediately felt like home to us. the rooms were a bit chilly at night, but the staff was always helpful and provided us with extra blankets. We loved the friendly and easygoing nature of the staff. They even organized events within the hostel, giving us the opportunity to meet other travelers. Another great aspect was the convenient location, situated between downtown and the beach. We were able to easily reach the hostel via a direct bus line from the airport. Plus, there were plenty of shops and grocery stores just across the road. Despite the small size, our room had a fridge and a TV, perfect for a comfortable sleep. All in all, it was great value for money.

Everything at this hostel was exactly what we needed and wanted. 👍

One downside is that the bed in the room I stayed in was too soft for my liking.

The beds were comfortable, cozy room, small fridge, free streaming services, sturdy bunk beds, lockers.

All was good.
