Wooded perfection: the resort and grounds were absolutely beautiful. the accommodations in our room were perfect. the cottages were well equipped for families with young children. the lobby had a gorgeous fireplace and offered hot coffee in the morning. the staff was friendly and helpful.

Accommodations not equal to price paid: the check-in process could have been smoother with clearer directions. the villas had dim lighting, making it difficult to take family photos.

We had a fantastic time at Callaway Resort & Gardens! We stayed for a few days to celebrate my husband's birthday. The location, nestled in the mountains, offered stunning views in the distance. The lodge and facilities were great, and our room was conveniently close to the elevator. The Christmas light show far exceeded our expectations, and we were particularly delighted by the Butterfly House. It was a peaceful and enjoyable experience, as there were not many people, allowing us to sit and marvel at the various colors of the butterflies.

We had a very comfortable stay at this luxurious hotel. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, providing us with a good night's sleep. The hotel's location in a beautiful wooded area was perfect for us, as we love being surrounded by nature. The on-site amenities, such as the spa and wellness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and jacuzzi, added to the overall relaxation and comfort of our stay. The staff at this hotel were also very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of during our time here.

There were some minor issues during our stay, such as the pillows being a bit too puffy for our liking. Additionally, we found that some of the roads mentioned on the resort map were not properly marked with road signs, causing us to get lost at times.

We recently stayed at this beautiful resort for a weekend getaway. The lake view from our room was stunning, and we loved having the fountain right outside our balcony. Falling asleep to the soothing sound of the waterfall was incredibly peaceful. The on-site restaurants, although a bit pricey, offered delicious food. The warm pool was a pleasant surprise, considering the cooler weather. The gardens were filled with activities and sights, and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring them. We can't wait to return!

My Christmas stay at this hotel was a wonderful experience. the first thing I loved was the modern and contemporary decor of the hotel, which gave it a stylish and upscale feel. the second positive aspect was the breakfast buffet, which had a great variety of options including eggs, meats, fruits, cereals, and yogurt. the location of the hotel was also a key advantage, as it was surrounded by beautiful gardens and offered easy access to attractions like the butterfly exhibit and birds of prey show. the combination of the hotel's decor, breakfast options, and location made for a delightful Christmas stay.

Although my stay was enjoyable, there were a few aspects that could be improved. One negative aspect was the delay in receiving an extra blanket when we called for it at night.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money was unbeatable. With its reasonable prices and attention to detail, we felt like we got so much more than we paid for. Secondly, the location in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains was simply breathtaking. The hotel's position on a nature reserve allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of the surrounding landscape. Lastly, the staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were attentive, friendly, and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort.

All was well.

We had an amazing time during our stay at Callaway! The lodge had a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The dining options were convenient and the food was delicious, especially at the Discovery Cafe and the lodge restaurant. We loved all the Christmas traditions, like writing letters to Santa and exploring the beautiful gardens. The separate shower and bath in our room was a nice touch, and the deep tub was perfect for a relaxing soak. it was an extraordinary experience with ample parking and a great location.
