The rate was extremely inflated due to a graduation event, reaching $370 per night with tax. the bartender seemed overwhelmed, taking care of making drinks, serving food, and cleaning up.

The refrigerator and microwave were very handy for storing and preparing snacks. The television had a variety of channels to choose from, and the flat-screen TV added a touch of modernity to the room. the quality of service and comfort at this hotel exceeded my expectations.

We had a fantastic stay here! The location was perfect, right beside the hockey arena, and it allowed us to easily explore the surrounding area with its shopping and restaurants. The service was impeccable, from the knowledgeable and helpful staff who provided great service to the wait staff and manager who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The room amenities were excellent, with everything we needed from the ironing facilities to the mini-bar. We also enjoyed the leisure facilities such as the indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, as well as the library and TV room. The staff here truly made our stay memorable.

For the price we paid, we were really impressed with our stay at the Cambria Hotel. The room was spacious and had an amazing view of the city. The location couldn't have been better, just a 1-minute walk to the PPG Paints Arena for the Penguins game. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay.

As for the breakfast option, it would have been nice to have a wider variety of choices available.

The location was very convenient, as it allowed us to explore the surroundings right beside the hockey arena. The staff was excellent and provided great service, from the wait staff to the manager. The room amenities were top notch, including the heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, and in-room safe. We also appreciated the leisure indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, library, and fitness centre. The free Wi-Fi and luggage storage were also very helpful during our stay.

Live the free shuttle

I loved staying at Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh - Downtown because of their amazing free shuttle service. It was so convenient to have a complementary shuttle that could take me anywhere within a 2-mile radius. The shuttle driver, Thurston, was excellent - he was quick and responsive, making sure I got to my destinations on time. The queen suite I stayed in was lovely, and my kids especially enjoyed the hot tub by the pool. The only thing that would have made my stay better is if they had a complementary breakfast bar. But overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay at Cambria Hotel Pittsburgh - Downtown again. Plus, its location within walking distance of Duquesne University was a bonus.

The hotel's location is excellent, situated right next to the rink and just outside of the action. Guests can easily access the energy of Consol Center and enjoy the convenience of being near the airport. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with large bathrooms. The staff is friendly and goes above and beyond to make guests feel special, offering complimentary drinks and shuttle service. The breakfast is reasonably priced and offers a variety of delicious options.

Some guests mentioned a lack of coffee cups and plastic drinking cups in their rooms.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The bed was cozy and the pillows were just right. The highlight of my stay, however, was definitely the breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from. I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others.
