We had the most amazing romantic getaway at this hidden gem! the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and the softest pillows we've ever had in a hotel. the owners were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more special. the location was perfect for a quiet and peaceful escape, surrounded by beautiful rural countryside. Plus, having a fridge and microwave in the room allowed us to enjoy a cozy dinner together.

The only downside was that there were no restaurants close by. However, the deli at the store next door had delicious sandwiches and pizzas as suggested by the owner.

During my Christmas stay, I liked the fact that the room was clean and spacious. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. the location was also great, as it was situated in a quiet rural area, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Additionally, I enjoyed the convenience of having a deli nearby for quick and easy meals.

There were a couple of negative aspects that I experienced during my stay. the bed was uncomfortably warm, and I found the king-size bed unnecessary for my needs.

The Canaan Motel was a great find for us! The breakfast had a good variety and the owners were very accommodating. The room was large, clean, and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. The managers were friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, including bringing a coffee maker to our room. The convenience of parking right in front of our room was a plus. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip through the area.

A huge thank you to Neil and the entire staff at this wonderful motel. Neil went above and beyond to help me with parking my UHAUL and towing a car behind. The room was immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The newly remodeled bathroom was large and impressive. The pool was clean and inviting, perfect for a relaxing swim. Additionally, Skowhegan, just 8 miles away, offers a great selection of excellent restaurants and the delicious Island Dairy ice cream. I can't express enough how happy I am with my stay here!
