The room was great, in a great location near a wonderful cafe Egg, and a close 15-minute walk to the beach and all the shops nearby. Our dog loved it, with friendly staff providing doggy bags and suggesting places to go. Easy check-in/check-out with minimal interactions. Clean, quiet, and close to everything. Breakfast room/lounge area was nice.

Canalside Inn offered great value for the money with spacious and spotless rooms, complete with thoughtful amenities like a corkscrew, wine glasses, and terry cloth bathrobes. The location was perfect, close to the beach and shopping, and the staff were accommodating, offering inexpensive parking passes for beach parking.

The only thing that could improve the breakfast selection was adding more variety to the options.

Not one thing.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a balcony and large windows that provided a great view. The hotel had easy access to the parking lot, making it convenient for me to come and go. The lower level of the hotel was a cozy retreat, with a room filled with TVs, movies, and books, along with comfortable furniture. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the breakfast room/lounge area was lovely. The hotel also provided bikes for free, allowing me to easily explore the area. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was within a 15-20 minute walk to the beach, giving me the convenience of being close enough to the beach, but also providing a peaceful and private atmosphere. The hotel's proximity to the canal and the nearby park added to the overall charm and appeal.

The peace and quiet was just what we needed to relax during our New Year's getaway. We loved the lovely canal views from across the small street, it was such a serene setting. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet and relaxing, which made for a restful stay.

One disappointment was the pet policy. While they advertised as a dog-friendly hotel, we had a yapping dog next door that was left alone in the room for hours, which disturbed our peace throughout our stay.

The inn is pet-friendly without any noise or disturbance from pets. It's a quiet and comfortable place with a continental breakfast provided.

We stayed in a quiet, residential neighborhood that was walking distance to shops and close enough to the beach to be convenient. The room was well-decorated, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The breakfast was simple but satisfying, and the coffee was good. Despite the lack of a view, there were some great facilities available, including Amazon Prime TV.
