During my recent stay at a motel near the Hatteras Light House, I was impressed by the friendly and helpful owner/operator. The rooms had been updated and were simple, functional, and impeccably clean. The fridge and coffee maker in the room were a convenient addition. I also appreciated the proximity to a grocery store and a coffee/book store. I would recommend this motel for its excellent service and convenient location.

The cleanliness of the motel was exceptional, and the owners clearly took pride in maintaining a neat and tidy environment. the room was also spacious, providing plenty of space to move around. Additionally, the location was very convenient, with easy access to a grocery store and the beach and lighthouse only a short distance away.

The amenities provided could be improved. the TV in the room was outdated and difficult to see, and the bed and pillows were uncomfortably hard.

the accommodations were excellent - comfortable, clean and pet-friendly. Cape Pines Motel exceeded my expectations during this short break in Buxton. I loved the convenient location with a supermarket across the street and the nearby fishing spots.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly accommodating and kind, even offering us a complimentary late checkout. The room was immaculate, spacious, and had cozy decor. We appreciated the little refrigerator in the room, as it allowed us to pack food for the beach without having to worry about keeping it cool all night. The hotel also had benches outside the rooms, hooks for drying towels, and even a fish cleaning station. this hotel provided excellent cleanliness, hotel facilities, and a convenient location near plenty of places to eat and a grocery store across the street.

We had a great stay at this hidden gem! The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us, providing a great deal. The hotel was quaint, well-maintained, and the location was convenient for exploring the area. The only downside was the coffee, but overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

We went to Hatteras for our son's 16th Birthday and had an amazing time! The beautiful beaches, awesome family tours, and friendly people made our stay memorable. Our favorite family dining spot, Angelo's Pizza, had great food and a fun game room. The flexible staff accommodated our request for a downstairs room, which was clean and comfortable. The spacious deluxe Queen room exceeded our expectations, and the location was convenient with plenty of dining options nearby. We'll definitely return to Cape Pines for our next Buxton visit.

We stayed in a cozy pet, friendly room, which was perfect for our romantic escape. the location was great, just across from a market, making it convenient for any last, minute snacks or drinks we needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the owner and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lightbulb issue, but it was quickly resolved by the efficient front desk staff. Plus, the in, room refrigerator was a nice bonus.

The AC in our room had a slight odor when running, which was a bit of a disappointment. We mentioned it to the front desk, but they didn't seem too concerned about it.

The location was convenient, right off of Hwy 12, and there were plenty of places within walking distance. The pool was a great addition, perfect for taking a refreshing dip. Cape Pines provided a clean and cozy atmosphere for backpackers like us.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The lady at the front desk was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and fully stocked, and it was spotlessly clean upon my arrival. The hotel facilities were top-notch, including a pool, a washer/dryer, and an ice machine. The location was great, within short walking distance to restaurants in the Kitty Hawk area. Plus, being in the upper outer banks, I could easily access the beautiful beaches and enjoy tours with my family. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the comfortable beds. It was just what we needed for our one-night stay. The staff at the front desk were incredibly sweet and genuine, providing excellent service. The rooms were clean and had great AC, ensuring our comfort. The motel is conveniently located right off of Highway 12, making it easily accessible. We also enjoyed the great pool and the fact that there were plenty of places within walking distance. Cape Pines provided us with a clean and cozy place to lay our heads.

Great beach access, with the beach just a short walk in either direction. Convenient location near a grocery store. the pool was clean and beautiful. the room was comfortable and had a charming atmosphere. I loved that there were hardwood floors.

The pool was not available during my stay, which was disappointing. Additionally, when I requested a refund or accommodation, the management did not respond positively.

The hotel's cleanliness was exceptional, and the facilities were well-maintained. The convenient location near top-rated restaurants and a grocery store made it easy to access everything I needed. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service.
