A fair review – pros and cons

The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect for a restful night! The area outside felt charming as I spotted deer nearby, adding a delightful touch to my stay.

The noisy highway made for an unsettled sleep experience. Add to that the limited parking situation, which required careful maneuvering.

The king size bed was the best part of

my stay at Captain Cook Inn. I was truly impressed by how comfortable it felt. The room was clean, and I loved the hardwood floors. Just a heads up, though, the hotel might feel a bit noisy at times, especially in the front rooms.

the location is appealing, but the facility’s charm is overshadowed by the filthy rug, which left my feet black—absolutely delightful. staff barely accommodated clean towel requests, and forget upgrades for inconveniences. despite my fine expectations, I just couldn’t muster a good review amidst the chaos. next time, i'll just return to the 5-star experience I deserve.

I was incredibly disappointed during my stay. I could hear everything from the adjacent room, including their snoring and conversations. Additionally, the facilities felt outdated, which I had hoped would add charm, but it instead felt like a liability. Overall, it was hard to relax with all the disturbances.

the staff here are amazing and super friendly! there's a lovely outdoor picnic area to enjoy meals, and the location is convenient for beach access.

Had a boss time! The room was dead comfy with beautiful hardwood floors, and it was super clean! Just a bit chilly at night, so bring a jumper. Loved the lovely spot for a cuppa in nature, really nice touch!

we had the best time at captain cook inn! the staff were super chill and friendly, and we totally loved the cozy vibe of the place. our room was really clean and had this nice little kitchenette that made breakfast a breeze. oh, and we even got to bring our dog with us! plus, there's a sweet garden area where we saw some deer walking around, which was a cool touch.

the heater was kinda old-school and got really hot, so be careful if you've got kids. also, we had some issues with a box fan not working, which was a bit of a bummer.

The King Suite was cute and comfy, and I loved the little kitchen setup with all the basic cooking items—totally made breakfast easier. But the bathroom felt pretty basic, and the thermostat wasn’t working right, so we had to use a space heater. Still, the room was clean, and it had a charming vibe. Would stay again, but hope the heating issue is fixed!
