i loved my stay at the carmel resort inn! the one-bedroom king cottage was spacious and super clean. the concierge was very helpful, making our experience even better. it’s located in a quiet neighborhood, making it peaceful for a family getaway. definitely a cozy cabin-style vibe!

Charming cottage amenities added a cozy touch.

During my stay, I encountered several frustrating issues. The WiFi was weak, leading to constant disconnections, making it difficult to get work done. Additionally, the lack of a sink in the bathroom was quite inconvenient, requiring extra trips back to the bedrooms for even basic tasks. Lastly, the small couch in our two-bedroom cottage felt cramped, especially since we were four adults, which took away from the overall comfort of our stay.

I mean, it was almost cozy, but absolutely no ventilation? How quaint! Also, as a guest, I woudl ve been expecting a welcome gift or something for the price I paid. Talk about overhyped! More like under-delivered, with filthy spots in the room and no hot water during my stay. Just couldn't bring myself to give a good review.

I enjoyed my stay, as I liked the cozy feel with modern amenities. It was easy to get to downtown, which helped me explore local shops. I faced a slight issue with the heating. the thermostat wasn't effective, so I had to use an electric fireplace to get warm. Overall, it was a good base for enjoying the coastal theme. Being from Europe, I appreciated the American hospitality and charm.

The bathroom could really use some attention. a bleach and scrub would make a world of difference! Also, having extra fans available for hot days would be great!

Had a great time in this place it felt like a cozy little cottage with all that clean space. The gas heater in our room was on point and was perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
