i stayed at comfort inn recently and was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the room was. the breakfast was solid, featuring hot options like scrambled eggs and sausage. overall, it exceeded my expectations for a relaxing holiday in grand island.

the pool was closed for maintenance during my stay.

Unexpected breakfast drama

The staff was welcoming, and the breakfast spread was quite impressive—two types of waffles and fresh fruit. I appreciated the cleanliness throughout the hotel, which made our stay enjoyable.

The room was clean and had a Keurig coffee maker, which is a nice touch. The bed was comfortable, and having six pillows was a pleasant surprise for a solid night's sleep.

The parking lot gets tight, especially in the evenings, making it a bit of a hassle to find a spot after dinner. The bathroom was in need of some small repairs, with dated fixtures, and the closet was oddly narrow, making it tough to use without bumping into things. Breakfast had the usual options, but it felt like it could use some more space for guests, as it got a bit crowded. Also, the HVAC unit was noisy, detracting from an otherwise decent stay.

The room was clean and had a good air conditioner for the summer heat. Plus, the location was fantastic, right next door was a great restaurant for dinner.

the rooms were clean and the staff were super nice. breakfast had decent options like scrambled eggs and waffles which were actually pretty good. loved that there was a keurig in the room cuz i needed my coffee fix. also, the pool was cool to chill in, even if it was kinda small. overall, it felt safe and comfy for a family stay.

but the parking was a real pain and it got super tight at night. The ac unit was kinda noisy which was annoying.

We had a wonderful stay with family near Island Oasis Water Park. The kids loved the open pool, and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Plus, it was great being so close to Carlos O'Kelly's, a restaurant we often missed from home.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast area could use some extra space for families.

Had a great time staying with friends! We visited the Island Oasis Water Park and checked out the Nebraska State Fair Grounds, both super close. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, perfect to start our days. Just a heads up, parking can get tight, so arrive early. I recommend staying here if you're looking for a fun getaway!

One of our friends had an issue with a requested wake-up call that didn’t happen, and the staff didn’t seem very helpful in addressing his concern, which was a bit disappointing.
