I recently stayed at Comfort Suites in the Effingham area, and I had a great experience. The hotel entrance appeared remodeled and the room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast selection was impressive and the location was convenient. The hotel was also adjacent to one of my favorite restaurants. Despite a noisy truck stop nearby, I still had a pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a fantastic stay! Best aspects - Cleanliness: The hotel was spotless and well-maintained. Hotel facilities: The pool was clean and the breakfast was above average. Location: It was easy to find off I-57/70. Staff: The front desk was wonderful and handled noise issues promptly.

The spacious rooms and ample seating at breakfast are unexpected bonuses.

The rooms were recently redone and nicely decorated with comfortable beds. the pool was clean and warmer than most hotel pools, perfect for a swim after a long day. the hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome during our stay.

There were a few issues that affected our overall experience. the door to the outside near our room didn't latch properly, which was a security concern.

The bed was comfortable, room was updated, friendly breakfast staff, clean and hot breakfast, night light in bathroom, comfortable beds and bedding.

The hotel offered free parking and free internet, which was a great convenience. the location of the hotel was also ideal, being situated between Indianapolis and St Louis, making it a convenient stopover. Additionally, the hotel provided free breakfast, which was a nice added bonus.

There were a few negative aspects to our stay. the front desk staff was not very hospitable and lacked proper professionalism.

Convenient amenities like a good, sized TV and a well, stocked kitchenette. the hotel is ideally located next to a popular restaurant and in a convenient location for our travels. Free parking, free internet, and free popcorn were nice perks. the room was clean, and the internet worked well.

Our room faced a nearby truck stop, so there was some noise during the night, although it wasn't enough to disturb our sleep. the tub surround in our room was in need of repair or replacement, which was a minor inconvenience.
