The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of service, making it difficult to carry luggage upstairs.

The staff was wicked friendly, helped me out right when I needed it. Pool area was the bomb for the kids, super clean! Only bummer was the elevator was out, so I had to lug my bags up to the second floor. No complaints on that end.

The elevator was out of service, forcing us to carry our large suitcases up to our second-floor room. When we complained, the staff seemed disinterested and provided no viable solution. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, as our room was directly above the pool area, making it stuffy and warm, even during winter.

I was so impressed with how clean my room was and the spacious layout was super comfortable! The breakfast spread was delightful with waffles, fruits, and hot options that changed daily. Plus, having a nice indoor pool was the cherry on top of a wonderful stay!

It was just a great fit for a short stint in Mattoon with high value for money. The pool and hot tub were well maintained, which was a nice way to unwind after a long day. Arrive early for breakfast to avoid the rush and find everything stocked well.

Oi, what a bloomin' fine stay! The room was cleaner than me mum's kitchen and brekkie was a treat with waffle makin'. Only downside was the spotty signal for me phone, but I'll be back for sure!

Attention to maintenance is absolutely necessary!!! The elevator was broken and not communicated upfront, making luggage handling a hassle!!! Also, the toxic smell was quite unpleasant during the stay!!! The experience could have been much better!!!

I was super impressed by the cleanliness of the Queen Suite with Two Queen Beds I stayed in. The layout was spacious, making it perfect for family time. Plus, the waffles at breakfast were a delightful treat!

We enjoyed our stay greatly! The location was super convenient, right off the highway, making it easy to head out for our nightly adventures. The spacious room was perfect for hanging out with friends, and the fitness center allowed us to work off some of the delicious meals we indulged in. Plus, having on-site laundry facilities was a big bonus, especially after long nights out.

Unfortunately, the elevator was out, which made lugging our bags upstairs a bit challenging.

Had a great stay at Comfort Suites in Mattoon! The King Suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious, providing plenty of room for us. The breakfast options were varied and well-stocked, with a delightful spread that kept our family satisfied each morning. Plus, the staff was quick to respond whenever we needed assistance.

Only downside was the lighting, which could be improved.

If you need more breakfast variety, consider arriving earlier before peak hours, or check out nearby restaurants for options.
