Historical, cozy atmosphere with beautiful river and falls view. Great restaurant with friendly service, complimentary breakfast with variety, and nice gift shop. Unique, intriguing, and beautiful inn with warehouse brick and wood motif, high ceiling, tall windows, and comfortable lobby.

I got excellent value for my money with a spacious and comfortable room that had beautiful river views. The location was perfect with plenty of things to do nearby, and the staff were warm, friendly, and accommodating.

I wish the morning meal had more variety to make it even better.

We had a memorable stay at the charming inn with its unique setting in a renovated mill. The lovely decor and big windows offered beautiful views of the river and mill buildings. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, and we appreciated the good coffee provided. The restaurant on site was also a highlight, offering delicious meals.

During our stay, we experienced a minor inconvenience with the continental breakfast. However, considering the overall accommodation and price range, we expected better quality breakfast items, especially with a good restaurant available on site.

Clean room, spacious and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the river. Located in a rehabbed factory, it had lots of charm. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was outstanding, with a large assortment of food options. The hotel facilities, including a restaurant and bar, were great. Parking was available at an indoor lot nearby. The hotel is conveniently located near Route 91 and attractions like Mt Sunapee and Pine Hill. The hotel is also near a rail trail and has a beautiful outside area to enjoy.

During our Christmas stay at this hotel, we found two aspects that we really enjoyed. First, the location was perfect, close to all the main attractions and within walking distance of great restaurants. Second, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, making our stay feel welcoming and comfortable. Additionally, we appreciated the cozy lobby with its fireplace, where we could relax and enjoy the live music playing in the background.

There were a couple of negative aspects to our stay. the parking situation was frustrating as there was no defined parking and it seemed to be a free-for-all.

We absolutely loved our stay at this place! The location right on the river was absolutely stunning. The view from our room was breathtaking, overlooking the serene Sugar River and its beautiful falls. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities like ironing facilities and free Wi-Fi. We also enjoyed the cozy ambiance of the lobby, where we could always grab a cup of coffee or juice.

I've stayed at the Common Man many times and have always loved it. The rooms are wonderful, the beds are divine, and the common areas are warm and welcoming. Always a treat. The location is readily accessible to Vermont and any activities you may enjoy there. The pub and restaurant are easily accessed, clean, appropriately priced and well staffed. The rooms were immaculate and serviced every day. It was a perfect mix of lodge meets eclectic, with comfy beds and plenty to do. The windows in our suite were stunning and we had the river as a built-in sound machine each night. Our little one loved the in-house kitty, Clare, though I’m not sure it was a shared sentiment, ha! We took the kiddos on an adventure to see the river and there was a cute park nearby.

I recently stayed at a beautifully converted mill building, The Common Man Inn & Restaurant, for a weekend getaway to explore the national parks in Cornish, NH and Woodstock, VT. The spacious room and nicely appointed common areas exceeded my expectations. I was delighted to find an adjoining restaurant that served excellent food on a Sunday evening when most other options were closed. The breakfast, advertised as a continental breakfast, was outstanding with a variety of fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, cereal. The friendly staff made the experience even better. it felt more like a spacious and comfortable B&B than a hotel.

My stay at this unique industrial-chic hotel was outstanding. The room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the river and dam. The restaurant offered outstanding food and a stunning view. The breakfast included a large assortment of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, fruit, cereal, and yogurt. Despite some minor noise from the river, the location was very soothing. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay here! The location right on the river is so beautiful. The staff was incredible and provided excellent service, from room service to housekeeping. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a great convenience. The room amenities, such as the ironing facilities and free toiletries, were also appreciated. The garden furniture was a nice touch and allowed me to relax outside. The dining restaurant and bar/lounge area were perfect for enjoying a delicious meal and drink. The breakfast was outstanding with a large assortment of options.
