The room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Temperature control was adequate, though the shower took over 10 minutes to get hot. The view was disappointing, facing an air conditioning unit, which left the curtains drawn. The pool was a highlight for the kids, not overcrowded during our evening and morning swims. Parking could be a challenge at times, requiring some circling to find a spot. While the restaurant staff was amazing, the breakfast experience fluctuated; the food was good overall, but Sunday was lacking due to staff issues.

I waited over an hour at check-in while the clerk took phone calls. When I finally got to the desk, she was rude and didn't honor my reservation.

This hotel is perfectly positioned near an array of restaurants and shops, making it a breeze to explore the vibrant Portland area with spots like Colwood National Golf Course just under a kilometer away, while the beautiful Grotto and Gateway Green cycling park are only a short drive away; plus, it’s also a quick trip to the airport, which is super handy for travelers like me who love to get out and about! The staff was pleasant, and the WiFi worked great; however, I did notice a few cleanliness issues that could use some attention but overall, it didn't detract too much from my enjoyable stay.

It seemed like the staff were more focused on closing up rather than attending to the needs of the guests, which was a bit disappointing.
