The staff was lovely and super helpful, especially Karya at the front desk—such a gem! My room had a beautiful lake view and was clean and spacious, which made my stay quite pleasant.

But seriously, the air conditioning was louder than a rock concert. Who needs a sleep soundtrack when you have that going on?

I had a delightful stay at Courtyard By Marriott Houston Sugar Land/Lake Pointe. The room was spacious and clean, offering a lovely view of the adjacent lake, which added to the tranquil atmosphere. The staff were accommodating, ensuring my needs were met promptly throughout my visit.

However, I did find a few surprises crawling up the walls—roaches! Marvelous, just what I wanted to see while settling in.

the front desk staff acted like they were too busy to care, which is just sad. I woudl've given a good review, but expecting something as simple as a complimentary coffee was clearly too much. 10/10 for disappointment.

The pool area was a nice escape, and I loved the padded hallway carpets that kept things quiet while I stayed here. The location was perfect for exploring nearby nightlife and dining options. Honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had!

Also, the food at the Bistro was surprisingly good. they made this special dish I didn't expect at all, which kind of redeemed the experience. You know, it was like seeing a glimmer of hope in a pretty bleak situation.

It wasn't exactly a bargain, but I guess you pay for what you get.
