our recent stay at the crowne plaza was fantastic! the hotel boasts spectacular views and a convenient location near the olympic museum and main street. we enjoyed the beautiful room, comfortable public areas, and engaging with fellow travelers at the outdoor seating areas. the bar and fire pits added a cozy touch to our evenings. overall, a great experience with top-notch staff and amenities.

The staff were super friendly, always ready to help out with directions and recommendations, plus the view from the balcony was just stunning. The complimentary coffee and water bar was a nice touch, and the private beach with water sports made our stay extra fun. We enjoyed the relaxing time at the indoor swimming pool and on the sun terrace, but it would've been even better if there were proper bathroom facilities there. 🌞

The location and view at Crowne Plaza Lake Placid were stunning, with spacious rooms and a warm welcome from Chase at the front desk. The upgrade to a lakefront room was a lovely surprise, and the hotel's beach and pool were perfect for relaxation. Exploring nearby landmarks like St Eustace Episcopal Church and Mirror Lake added to our family bonding experience, despite some room design flaws.

We hit the gnarly slopes of Whiteface Mountain for some rad skiing and riding, and the views were off the charts! Plus, the hotel had an insane 45-hole golf course right in the heart of the Adirondacks, and the Olympic Winter Games went down there - total history, dude!

It would be sick if the hotel had more happening nightlife for us young party animals, you know?

Indulged in some wickedly good sweet rolls at the hotel. Culinary delights found at every turn—bless the foodie heavens! Location was primo, with stunning mountain vistas and comfy rooms. A+ evening at the venue and top-notch surroundings.

Hotel on a beast of a hill made my legs groan after meandering downtown. However, this uphill battle was a small fry.

My recent stay was wonderful! the breakfast on the patio overlooking the lake was EXCEPTIONAL. I felt like royalty. Would choose again! the swimming pool was even nicer than in photos.

The staff, from the manager who checked us in to the bartenders and waitstaff, were not just okay but exceptionally friendly and pleasant. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. the omelette station at breakfast was a delightful surprise, adding value to our already pricy stay. the location on the hill overlooking the village was perfect for a serene getaway, with easy access to charming Main Street and scenic walking trails around the lake. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

One small improvement could be adding more soundproofing to the rooms, as noise from the pool area and neighboring guests could be a bit disruptive at times. providing more amenities in the pool area, such as a bathroom and locker room, would enhance the overall experience for guests wanting to relax and enjoy the facilities.

The room at Crowne Plaza Lake Placid was easily accessible and very quiet. The view from the room was lovely, with a beautiful mountain and lake view. The room itself was much bigger than expected, and we could even walk around comfortably. We particularly enjoyed being located on the top floor of the Adirondack Wing, where we could take in the sweeping views of the Adirondacks from our private balcony.

This became evident when my truck was vandalized in the parking lot on our first night. The manager seemed very uncaring and less interested in what happened.

One area for improvement could be better communication with guests regarding receipts and checkout procedures.

The Crowne Plaza Lake Placid was a delightful stay with beautiful views, attentive staff, and great amenities. Although the room had minor issues with the sliding door and bathroom, the overall experience was enjoyable. The perfect location near Lake Placid made my trip memorable. Can't wait to return!

Located on a hill overlooking the town, this hotel is a convenient base for exploring the local area. Guests appreciated the proximity to shops, restaurants, and a large grassy area. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice touches like fireplaces in the lobby. The staff was friendly, with some exceptions, and happy to help with anything guests might need. While breakfast was pricey, the quality was good and there were plenty of options available. The pool area could be crowded, but some enjoyed the opportunity to relax in the hot tub. The only negative was the pool closing early.
