The beds were average but clean. The highlight was the motel's history magazine, which was a creative and gutsy project. I enjoyed meeting my neighbors, sharing a beer, and going on a bat-watching adventure together. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others.

My recent stay at the Desert Air Motel was fantastic! I visited Sanderson for Memorial Day weekend and despite the lack of dining options in town, the motel's location was convenient for my travel plans. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the staff, particularly Russel, went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. I've been coming back to this older hotel for three years now and it keeps getting better. I'm excited to hear they might be adding a pool, which would be amazing in the west Texas heat. The motel is a true gem that continues to improve with each visit.
