Despite the high price, the hotel was pet friendly and allowed us to bring our dog along. the views of the mountains from some of the rooms were remarkable. Additionally, the hotel had a good location, close to downtown Estes Park, making it easy to walk or bike to shops and restaurants.

The hotel seemed poorly managed and run down. Our room had a non-working toilet, and the front desk staff initially didn't seem willing to help.

Stayed at the hotel for a week and it was great. The staff was friendly and the outdoor areas were well maintained. the lodge was even better than my previous stay in Estes Park. Beautiful rooms and comfortable beds, with great amenities like a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. I stayed at a Discovery Lodge in Estes Park and had a fantastic experience. The best aspects were the location and the staff. The hotel was close to everything I needed to attend and was right on a golf course where the elk grazed in the evenings. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was also very nice.

I had a great stay at the lodge with its reasonable price and comfortable cabins. The recently refurbished cabin was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was convenient as it was a 15-minute walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown. I also liked that they allowed my dog in the room and provided a large lawn area for her. The staff was friendly and the location was close to the Estes Park visitor's center and the walking path around the lake.
