this place was barely acceptable. the restaurant felt like a highschool cafeteria, and I had no room service. when I requested an upgraded room—nothing. the pool area was dirty, and I had to ask for toilet paper multiple times, yet they still thought knocking at 11 AM was appropriate. I almost gave a good review, but no!

We loved how close we were to the beach, and the kids spent hours in the lazy river pool. The view from our oceanfront room was fantastic, especially in the mornings. The restaurant had delicious meals at reasonable prices, which was a nice surprise.

My kids wished the bathroom was bigger and had more space for their stuff.

I loved the location of doubletree. it's so close to the beach and the pool bar had an amazing vibe. the freshly baked cookies at check-in were a delightful treat! even though the room was on the smaller side, it was cozy enough for our stay.

Had an awesome brekkie at the on-site spot and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Water pressure was top-notch and the staff were super friendly, like chatting with your chommies. Plus, being right next to the pier was a total win!

The new renovations, the private pier access, the dog-friendly areas was simply exceptional.

The mini-golf on-site was a fun perk, and the oceanview from my balcony made for lovely sunsets. The location was perfect for a chill seaside vibe and easy access to the beach.

But let’s be real, the room was a blast from the past—maybe from the ‘90s? Plus, I could've sworn I heard planes gossiping over my head every five minutes!

However, the rooms felt dated and could benefit from some upgrades. For those without a car, prepare for extra ride-sharing costs. Consider requesting a room in the Palmetto for better views.

Had a right laugh chilling by the beach, loved the room view! But the pool area needed a good scrub, and staff got a bit muddled with my breakfast charges. Still would revisit for that cracking ocean view, mate!

I really liked the ocean view from my room. it was beautiful! The bed was super comfortable, which was a big plus. The room itself was decent-sized but could use some updates here and there. I noticed the carpets were a bit stained and some decor felt dated. Still, I appreciated the quick check-in, and it was nice having direct beach access. Also, the pool area was great for relaxing after a long day.
