While there is some roughness in the surrounding neighborhood, it doesn't take away from the great value and service provided by this hotel.

Wanted a place to stay for one night as had tix to the Greek Theater. This was ideally located and reasonably priced so took a chance. Was pleasantly surprised as the room exceeded expectations. Free off-street parking right outside your room is a breeze. Obviously been refurbished not too long ago, was comfortable and very clean. Beds comfy, bathroom good, wi-fi works fine, good size fridge that actually keeps things cold. Was on ground floor and was not bothered by road noise. Could hear upstairs guests leaving but was thankfully brief. Dreams cafe on the premises was the perfect place to grab a bite to eat without having to venture out. Will stay here again.

We were able to explore the area and visit popular sites within a short car ride. Another advantage was the friendly staff, who were helpful and accommodating during our stay.

There were a few negative aspects to our experience. the pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable.
