During my stay at the Wingate by Wyndham Fletcher at Asheville Airport, I encountered a minor inconvenience with an infestation of small ants in the room. While the room itself was clean and well-equipped, the presence of these pests was unexpected and detracted from the overall comfort of the stay.

Despite the overall pleasant stay, there was noticeable highway noise audible from the room located at the end of the building. while the location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions, it was still a 20+ minute drive from most of Asheville, which could be a slight inconvenience for travelers primarily focused on activities in the city center.

Excellent location near the Asheville airport with easy access from I-26. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable, perfect for backpackers. The staff is friendly and welcoming, providing helpful advice and tips for local restaurants and attractions like the WNC Market Fair. The breakfast options exceeded expectations and were better than other nearby hotels.
