The room was nicely updated with laminate floors and had a small table, microwave, and coffeemaker. the owners were friendly, and I appreciated that the hotel was pet, friendly with no fees for pets. the location was great, with a family, style restaurant right next door where we enjoyed good food and specials.

During our stay, we experienced a power outage for about 2 hours in the middle of one night. As a result, the fan and air conditioning were not running, and we could hear the noise from the highway outside.

Great location right off the highway, perfect for a quick stop during a long drive. the staff was super friendly and check-in was a breeze. the room had a refrigerator and microwave, which was convenient for storing and heating up food. Plus, there were plenty of outlets for all my electronic devices.

The room could use some better security measures, like a deadbolt or chain. Also, there was a bit of road noise from being close to the highway.

As a budget traveler, I loved the affordable price and the updated, spacious room at Sunset Lodge. The friendly night staff made check-in a breeze. The comfortable bed and plenty of pillows ensured a good night's sleep. The bathroom was also spacious and had nice fixtures. The motel's location off the road kept road noise to a minimum. Additionally, the discount offered at the nearby restaurant was a pleasant surprise.

Felt like family, no complaints at all.

As a solo traveler, I really appreciated the friendly and informative staff who welcomed me like an old friend. The breakfast offering was generous with packaged snack items available until late morning, and there was plenty of fresh coffee. The room was cozy, but had all the amenities a traveler could ask for, including a fridge and microwave. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the room was spotlessly clean. The bathrooms had been updated with a modern touch, and the shower had great water temperature and pressure. I felt very well taken care of during my stay at Sunset Lodge.

We stayed at Sunset Lodge for three nights and it was perfect for our small trip. The room was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed, including a microwave and fridge. The shower was great and the AC worked perfectly. The family-owned hotel had a lovely atmosphere and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The small grab n go breakfast was a nice touch. a clean, affordable, and comfortable place to stay that exceeded our expectations.

Don't be fooled by the old-fashioned exterior. The rooms at Sunset Lodge are fresh, the bed is great, and the bathroom is exceptional! The staff greeted us like old friends and were very accommodating. They offered a generous breakfast with packaged snacks and fresh coffee. The room was cozy but had all the amenities we needed, including a fridge and microwave. The motel was clean and allowed us to bring our dogs for an extra charge of only $10. The location near the highway was convenient, and even though my husband is a light sleeper, he slept great with earplugs. The front desk was helpful, providing me with a hairdryer and extra coffee.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I recently stayed at Sunset Lodge and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The room I stayed in, Room 18, was small but up to date and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and made my stay smooth and hassle-free. One of the highlights was the excellent soundproofing, as I didn't hear any noise from the neighboring rooms. The only slight inconvenience was some road noise from passing semi trucks, but it wasn't enough to be bothersome. I found Sunset Lodge to be an excellent value for the price and I will definitely be staying here again when I'm in the area.

I would definitely stay here again. It is a great place! Renovated motel, comfortable beds, awesome for pets! The rooms have been completely redone, with an excellent shower and bathroom. The night staff was very friendly and we had no issues checking in. Motel is right off the road but road noise was minimal. They had a very generous breakfast offering of packaged snack items available until somewhat late in the morning.
