I stayed in a spacious upper suite. The full kitchen allowed me to prepare some meals. It was convenient to get to local trails. The staff readily provided necessities when needed. I enjoyed some time on the balcony with a drink, reflecting on the scenic outdoor adventures my partner and I had shared. The guiding experiences here with seasoned anglers are worthwhile for anyone, big fish or not.

Unfortunately, my dining experience at the restaurant was disappointing. The portions were shockingly small for the price, leaving us feeling unsatisfied with our meals. We ended up spending too much and were still hungry afterward, which put a damper on our stay. Additionally, the inconsistency of the Wi-Fi really hindered my ability to share my experiences online, and the outdated furnishings in the room made it feel less inviting. Overall, I hoped for a better experience given the stunning location.

The views of the surrounding area are stunning, especially if you snag a spot with a balcony. The cabins are adequate for a comfortable stay, and the well-equipped family trailers provide decent amenities for outdoor activities.

Wi-Fi access is inconsistent, making it tough to share those breathtaking photos. Many of the rooms could use a serious update. old carpets and dated furniture make for a less-than-inviting atmosphere. The food prices at the on-site restaurant can hit the wallet pretty hard without delivering a knockout meal, and the lack of basic room essentials like a fridge or microwave can be inconvenient for longer stays. Also, some guests noted cleanliness issues in common areas, which detracts from the overall experience.

The views of Flaming Gorge from the resort are absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset when the waters reflect the colors of the sky. I loved the home-style meals at the on-site restaurant, where dishes like blackberry cobbler make every meal feel special. The guided fishing experience was unforgettable, particularly with the knowledgeable guide Pat, who made fishing fun and easy for us!

Absolutely loved the spacious Double Room with Mountain View! Perfect for family stay and super clean! ! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making our 5 nights really enjoyable. Location was great too, near access to trails and the beautiful Flaming Gorge area!

For us it was ideal.
