My family and I recently had a wonderful stay at a charming resort just outside of town. The cottages were beautifully designed and had all the modern amenities we needed. The proximity to the Paul Bunyan Trail was a huge bonus, allowing us to take peaceful walks through the pines and along the lake. The resort area was quiet and clean, and the beach and shallow swim area were perfect for our young grandchildren. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. we had a fantastic time at this family-friendly resort and would highly recommend it.

While the resort had a few outdated aspects, such as the carpets and furniture, it did not negatively impact our stay. The scent in one of the rooms was a bit unpleasant, but it was manageable once we aired it out.

We had an amazing time at a lakeside resort in a great location. We could walk, bike, or drive to everything we needed, including shops and restaurants. The Paul Bunyan trail is right beside the resort and offers endless opportunities to explore the area. Our room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We loved the free bikes and gas grills with grilling equipment.

The value for the money was excellent, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect, close to downtown and with a beautiful view from the balcony. The staff at Good Ol Days were friendly and helpful, even assisting with carrying my bags up the stairs.

It would be better if they didn't advertise breakfast as included when it's not available.

During our recent stay at Good Ol Days Resort, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful surroundings and convenient location. The resort is situated right by the Paul Bunyan walking trail, allowing us to easily explore the area by foot or bike. We also appreciated the free bikes provided by the resort, which made our explorations even more enjoyable. The grounds were well-maintained and offered stunning views of the lake, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

There were a few minor drawbacks to our stay. One of our concerns was the lack of ashtrays, as our young child kept picking up cigarette butts.

The location of this hotel was perfect for me—I was able to walk or bike to many attractions, including the center of town and a beautiful walking trail. Plus, being right on a lake was an incredible bonus. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I had a fantastic experience with the cleanliness, facilities, location, and staff.

We had a lovely stay at this resort, located near beautiful hiking trails and a charming town. The cottages were spacious and clean, and the shallow swim area was perfect for our young children. Although breakfast was limited, the picnic table and gas grill provided a great outdoor dining experience. Despite some minor issues with lighting and garbage, overall I would recommend this resort for a family vacation.

The venue was located right on the Paul Bunyan trail, making it an ideal location to stay. I enjoyed the luxurious amenities provided by this hotel, including the private facilities that added to my exclusive experience. the leisure room and outdoor dining area were a great way to unwind after a busy day.

Despite some fresh fruit, cold cereals, and good coffee, I found it a bit basic.

Our Easter experience was wonderful at this resort. We enjoyed the free bikes and gas grills provided by the hotel which made our stay more enjoyable. the location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful scenery and close to town. We had a great time exploring the surroundings and participating in the daily activities offered by the hotel.

The decor was also quite dull and uninviting. the room was also quite expensive compared to what was advertised on the internet.

We absolutely loved our stay at Good Ol Days Resort. The rustic feel and family atmosphere made us feel right at home. The fall foliage was beautiful and being close to the water was a plus. Our room was spacious and we loved the unique shower entrance. The addition of a sink, fridge, and storage right when you enter was convenient. The resort also offered complimentary bike rentals, which we took advantage of. The best part was the affordable price and the close proximity to the charming town of Nisswa. We were able to walk into town on the nicer days and enjoy the vibrant fall colors.

Visiting Good Ol Days Resort felt like visiting family, and we had no complaints at all.
