The hotel is perfectly located just a short walk from beautiful attractions like the Prada, Thyssen, and Reina Sofia. It's also conveniently near the flamenco tablao and Atocha Renfe train station, making it easy to explore. I enjoyed the comfy beds and the attentive housekeeping which kept my room tidy throughout my stay.

The slow lifts made for some frustrating morning waits.

the lifts were unbearably slow, causing much distress during my stay. ridiculous for a '4-star' establishment! also, I was appalled at the absolute lack of tea or coffee in my room—who doesn't provide that? I, of course, expected a complimentary upgrade as compensation, but it seems that only certain guests are worthy. this place was a letdown.

The building is historical, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Its location near transportation and attractions makes it a convenient choice.

Unfortunately, I faced long check-in delays, and the Wi-Fi was frustratingly inconsistent throughout my stay.

Poor soundproofing made it difficult to escape the noise from adjacent rooms!!! Inconsistent water temperature in the shower was frustrating during my stay!!! The hotel's decor is outdated and needs a refresh!!! A lack of convenient charging ports was annoying!!!

we had a great stay at agumar! the staff was super friendly and helpful. our room was perfect for the family, spacious enough for all. the breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. it's also a nice walk to see sights and enjoy local bars nearby.

Convenient Stay with Great Breakfast Choices!

My friend and I enjoyed a 4-day stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and the staff was consistently friendly. The location near the metro made exploring Madrid easy. Pro-tip, try to avoid peak breakfast hours to dodge the coffee machine line!

the shower was a bit annoying, since the bathroom floor got soaked. but location was amazing, so close to transport and cute bars 🍷. staff was super helpful and the room had great toiletries and a nice view. 🛏️

Friendly staff and huge rooms, but poor Wi-Fi made calling impossible.

I loved the spacious room with a really nice bathroom and a relaxing bathtub. There were great spots to unwind, like the cozy lounge area and a beautiful terrace. The thermostat could have worked better since it wasn't always steady in keeping it cool, but it didn’t bother me much. Pro-tip, definitely take the time to enjoy breakfast, it’s worth it! 😊

My stay was really enjoyable, with friendly and professional staff, and I loved that it was just a short 5-minute walk from Atocha train station and only a bit over a kilometer to the stunning Parque del Retiro, perfect for strolls among the trees and lovely views. overall, it was a great experience, even though the lifts were a bit slow, especially during busy times.

Wi-Fi? More like 'Why-Fi? ' because it barely worked! And the showers? I thought I'd booked a room, not a wet t-shirt contest!
