During our Christmas stay, we appreciated the stunning views and prime location of the inn - close to the ocean and other attractions. the room offered comfortable amenities, including a cozy fireplace and a relaxing jacuzzi tub. We also enjoyed the convenience of the buffet breakfast and the fresh cut fruit.

We were disappointed by the tired and outdated décor of the inn, particularly the bed and pillows. the impractical design of the bathroom, as well as the extended wait for hot water, were major inconveniences.

As low-budget travelers, we loved the charming Victorian vibe of the Lacy Room, filled with antiques from its 1888 origin. The central location was perfect, with easy access to the beach, Cannery Row, and walking trails. The breakfast, delivered to our room at our chosen time, was excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The comfortable king bed and proximity to attractions made our stay enjoyable.

The walls in some of the rooms are thin, which may result in some noise from neighboring rooms or the front desk area.

The hotel's location was perfect - nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, overlooking the crashing waves of Monterey Bay. We loved being able to walk into town easily, yet still enjoy the tranquility of the area. The rooms in the annex were a pleasant surprise - they were large and nicely decorated, with vintage furniture and a cozy gas fireplace. Waking up to the incredible view of the sea from our bed was a highlight of our stay. The service from the staff was top-notch, and the basic amenities provided everything we needed. The breakfast each morning was excellent, and we also enjoyed the complimentary afternoon wine and snacks.

The breakfast at Green Gables Inn was delivered right to our room at the exact time we requested. The coffee was hot and the juices were cold. We loved the grab-n-go wine and cheese snack! The location was fabulous with views of the ocean and it was an easy walk to Cannery Row and other restaurants in Pacific Grove. Despite some minor drawbacks, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Green Gables Inn for a weekend getaway. The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved waking up to the partial ocean view from my window. The breakfast room was absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the ocean just across the street. The fact that they provided free bicycles was a major plus, as the inn is conveniently located right on the bike path. The cookies and afternoon wine with snacks were also a delightful touch.
