We loved this hotel! The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a modern bathroom. The Illy coffee maker was a bonus. The courtyard setting for breakfast was lovely, with the aroma of lavender in the air. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance to the town, where there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. It is also walkable to the Mission and other historic buildings. The staff was friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay.

I also loved the charming courtyard where I enjoyed breakfast on a sunny day. The breakfast frittatas were delicious and the coffee was good. Additionally, the hotel provided bikes for guests to use during the day, which was a nice bonus.

The hotel felt somewhat impersonal, lacking a personal touch in its decor and atmosphere. The lighting in the room was dim, making it difficult to read, and the small heater couldn't warm up the large space adequately.

The staff dressed in Spanish style. The motel had grape vines. Breakfast was served in a relaxing courtyard. I felt transported to the 1700s. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable.

The hotel grounds were absolutely stunning, especially with the beautiful olive trees and lights in the evening. the staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, going above and beyond when we had an incident with a member of our party. the rooms themselves were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and good water pressure in the showers.

The noise level in the rooms. the walls were quite thin, and we could hear the couple next door throughout the night and early in the morning.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The bed in our room was incredibly comfortable, giving us a great night's sleep. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wine tasting from the Leal Vineyards. we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Ascend Hotel.

The landscaping layout was charming and the bed was good. the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the hotel was easy to find and convenient to where we were going.

It would have been great if there was a pool or hot tub, and the lack of towel racks and hooks in the bathroom was inconvenient. the remote control for the TV did not work.
