During our romantic escape, we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds of the hotel. the property had a historic mansion feel, which added a unique charm to our stay. Additionally, the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. the hotel's convenient location near downtown Lexington allowed us to easily explore the area and enjoy some fantastic restaurants.

We did encounter a couple of drawbacks during our stay. the noise early in the morning from the staff preparing the continental breakfast area was quite disruptive, making it difficult for us to sleep in.

We got great value for our money with a clean room and comfortable bed at Hampton Inn. The location was perfect, within walking distance of downtown, restaurants, and the college campus. The staff treated us with superior service, especially Victoria at the front desk.

The food for breakfast could have been improved, maybe with a wider variety of options or a hot breakfast.

Lastly, the rooms were clean and well-maintained, with a nice attention to detail and a large balcony on the upper floors. Plus, the included breakfast was a great way to start the day.

Located in a historical setting, the building is beautiful. The front yard is large and green. The front desk staff is attentive and quick to resolve issues. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with well-placed outlets. The hotel provides a lovely dining area and terrace ideal for enjoying meals and coffee.

As women traveling alone, we felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The beds were comfortable with great mattresses and pillows. The historic setting of the hotel added a unique touch to our experience. The breakfast in the historic part of the hotel was fantastic, providing us with a delicious start to our day.

The only small issue we encountered was that the beds were a bit high, but thankfully the comfortable mattress and pillows made up for it. Other than that, our stay was perfect and we felt cozy and well taken care of.

We had a fantastic stay at the Great Historic Hotel. The recently renovated property was stunning, with a charming original historic mansion attached. The beautiful grounds and outdoor pool/hot tub added to the overall appeal. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the decent breakfast had plenty of seating options. Our room on the second floor with a large balcony was spotlessly clean and had a comfortable bed. We also appreciated the nice flag display for Memorial Day. We would definitely choose to stay here again.
