Clean rooms with air conditioning, flat-screen TV, and microwave. Loved having a refrigerator and tea/coffee maker too. Fitness center was a bonus. Staff was super nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay, just wish the eggs were fresh. Location was perfect for hitting the highway and getting to DC easily.

This hotel is just over a mile from the heart of Old Town Alexandria where you can stroll along the scenic waterfront, enjoy shops and restaurants, and visit historic sites like Gadsby's Tavern Museum and the Torpedo Factory Art Center, plus there’s a free shuttle service available to take you to the metro station, which opens up even more possibilities for exploration in Washington D.C. The rooms were spacious and clean with friendly staff ensuring a comfortable stay but minor improvements in room maintenance would enhance the overall experience.

The rooms were comfortable, featuring two Queen beds in the first, spacious enough for our family of eight. The bedding was soft and inviting, though I found the mattress a bit firm for my liking. Temperature control worked well, maintaining a pleasant climate. the microwave in the room was dirty, and we encountered some maintenance issues, like a faulty telephone and a clogged shower drain. Noise levels were manageable, thanks to decent soundproofing, but the hotel’s layout made access tricky. Staff were attentive, ensuring we had additional complimentary rooms that fit our needs perfectly.

Clean room. Convenient location near the airport. Free parking, which is rare these days. I arrived late; the check-in process was efficient. Breakfast offered plentiful options—well attended and organized. several areas need serious attention. The furniture was old and chipped. The fridge barely functioned—impossible to open and close without a struggle. The room was congested, and the bathroom had stains. Some staff lacked warmth, giving an impression of indifference. Air conditioning failed, leaving us uncomfortable during a heatwave. A low toilet added to the inconveniences. With better maintenance and service, this place could truly shine.

It was fantastic, with a good variety of options and everything tasted delicious. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which was a big plus for us. We also found the parking lot to be well lit and felt safe leaving our car there. there were several issues that we encountered during our stay. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. The microwave was dirty, there was no toilet paper when we arrived, and the shower had drainage problems. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the temperature regulation in the room was off, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. There were also some concerns about the pool area, as it was dirty when we arrived and we had to clean it ourselves before being able to use it. On a more positive note, the hotel was conveniently located near the metro, making it easy for us to explore the city. We appreciated being able to request a quiet room and found the bathtub and shower to be very nice. our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites had its ups and downs.

Just a fitting option for a hurried visit in Alexandria with extraordinarily good value for money. Room was very clean.

Room was super spacious, clean, and had comfy pillows - perfect for a good night's sleep. 🌊 Didn't get to use the pool but it looked inviting. Only tiny downside was the slight cleanliness issue in the room, but nothing major - just a small tissue on the floor. Still a great spot for a restful overnight stay right off the highway.

Great location with easy access off the highway and free parking. The staff, especially Clifford, was incredible—super attentive and friendly. Loved the breakfast and the nice ambiance around the hotel. the room cleanliness was a letdown; a dirty microwave and lack of toilet paper were frustrating. A sulfur smell from the sink water was also unpleasant. And a surprise $75 hold when checked in felt unfair, especially with some chaotic event going on. Little details matter, and they could do better.

Finding the hotel entrance was a nightmare, especially during rush hour. The lack of clear signs from Highway 1 had us driving in circles. It was stressful and made a simple check-in feel like a chaotic adventure.
