Had a great New Year's stay at this hotel. the staff was super welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. the property was well-maintained and our room was comfortable and clean. the morning breakfast had a decent selection and we loved the evening cookies as a nice touch. We also enjoyed having a pool to ourselves, and the convenience of a nearby restaurant.

One downside was that the breakfast area got really crowded on the second day and there was only one staff member trying to handle it all. We also had noisy neighbors above us, which made it difficult to sleep.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent. The prices are reasonable, especially for the area which tends to be packed and expensive. The attention to detail in the rooms is impressive, with little touches like popcorn, cookies, and fruit available. The location is always top-notch, whether you're visiting the Caverns or the Guadalupe mountains. The staff are friendly, and the basic amenities are well-maintained.

Everything was more than satisfactory, no improvements needed.

I recently stayed at Hampton Inn in Carlsbad for a family trip and it was fantastic! The staff, especially Gloria, were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable from the moment we arrived. The breakfast options were convenient, with grab and go choices available. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and the pillows were comfortable. The hotel's location was ideal, with a Walmart nearby and Chili's right in front. We also loved having the pool all to ourselves. We will definitely be returning!

The front desk lady was really nice and extremely helpful! The hotel was very clean. You could make reservations for the pool for 1 hr, which made my son's day. Great idea!!

There were a lot of issues with cleanliness in the room. There were hairs in the bed and shower, as well as white residue on the shower walls.
