The location of this old style mansion in the woods of Maine was absolutely stunning. It was situated right on the tip of Acadia National Forest, providing breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere. the grounds of the hotel were beautifully maintained, perfect for taking leisurely walks and enjoying the natural surroundings. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

One major downside of our stay was the limited food options in the town. We were disappointed to find that there were very few restaurants nearby, and those that were open had long waiting lines or limited operating hours.

We had an unforgettable time at a cozy hotel in Maine. Our room was comfortable and had a gorgeous view of the harbor. the complimentary breakfast was delicious - we especially liked the home-made muffins and fresh fruit selection. the hotel location was perfect, with easy access to some great hikes and stunning gardens.

There were a few minor inconveniences, such as unreliable WiFi on the top floor and tricky locks on the room doors. the shower was not very practical for someone with limited mobility.

The innkeeper was thoughtful and accommodating, even helping a friend surprise me with champagne in the room. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were outstanding, and the small kitchenette was a convenient addition. The inn's location in Northeast Harbor provided a peaceful and inviting atmosphere away from the busy Bar Harbor. I highly recommend this inn for a wonderful and nostalgic experience.

The host was incredibly helpful and even arranged a surprise for me upon arrival. the homemade muffins at breakfast were delicious and a great way to start the day. the room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed, including a small kitchenette. the location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle. Being close to the national park and harbors was a huge advantage.

I wish there had been more recommendations for hiking trails and unique activities to do in the area. Also, the lack of AC in the room was a downside, especially during a heatwave.
