helming guest house had a cozy vibe and was very clean. the front porch offered a stunning view of the missouri river, and we enjoyed the nice kitchen that was well equipped. we loved the practical furniture and tasteful decorations, which added charm to our stay.

Charming weekend escape!

We had a fantastic time here during our wine trail getaway! The place was super clean and had all the essentials we needed—like wifi, full kitchen, and cozy furniture. The picnic area was a nice touch for enjoying the outdoors. Just wish the train noise wasn’t so loud at night, but the beautiful river view made it all worth it.

The kitchen was fully equipped—think of it as a culinary playground waiting for us to cook up something delicious! Frequent loud trains disrupt the peace at night!!! The bathroom lacks storage space, and there's no live TV—only Roku!!! With only a pedestal sink, hygiene products struggle for space!!! Those porches could use a solid cleaning!!!

Charming and cozy with stunning river views, the spacious porch was ideal for relaxation. Fully furnished and well-equipped, it served as a perfect retreat for our group. Excellent for parking our trailer, too!

No toiletries were provided, creating a bit of an inconvenience. Additionally, we encountered some strong scents from plugins that we had to unplug for comfort.

super clean and cozy with a charm thats hard to beat. the view from the front porch was breathtaking, perfect for chillin after a day of exploring. loved that we had a full kitchen to whip up meals and the parking for our truck was a huge plus too! hilight was definitely the comfy furnishings that made it feel like home.

only downsides were no toiletries provided, which was kinda a bummer, and we had to unplug a few strong scents from plugins for our comfort.
