Some rooms were affected by loud mechanical noise from nearby elevators, which could be disruptive. The lack of soundproof windows made it difficult to sleep peacefully, especially due to external noises like passing motorcycles.

This hotel has a great location, close to everything in the city that you would want to see. The river is just a stone's throw away, so you can dip your toes in the water when the heat gets to be too much. Millennium Park and The Contemporary Museum is within walking distance. You won't have any trouble finding somewhere great to eat, as there are many nearby dining options.

There was never any ice available in the ice room on any of the floors, which was a bit disappointing.
