I loved the cozy room for my family of four - it gave us the privacy we needed. The box fan made the summer nights comfortable, and the linens were really nice. The hostel had thoughtful amenities like a needle and thread for a busted backpack strap. The location mid-island and right on the busline was perfect. The shared kitchen was well-stocked and spacious, and the outdoor grounds were beautiful for meals and relaxing. As a woman traveling alone, I felt extremely safe here at all hours. The hostel even had designated containers for recycling and composting, which I really appreciated as a nature lover. The outdoor showers were a special touch that I loved using every day. it was an amazing little place and I can't wait to go back.

I recently stayed at Hi - Martha's Vineyard Hostel for a few nights and it was an incredible experience. The value for the price was excellent and the hostel itself was of great quality. I loved the mission of Hostelling International in promoting tolerance through travel, which created a welcoming and engaging environment. The cleanliness of the hostel was commendable, and I appreciated the opportunity to meet and interact with other guests. The location, while not within walking distance to attractions, was conveniently located on the bike path and had a bus stop right outside. The hostel provided basic breakfast options and had amenities like refrigerators and grills. an ideal value for those planning on exploring the island by bike.

As a solo traveler, I highly value the social atmosphere and friendly guests I encountered at Hi - Martha's Vineyard. Not every hostel has such a cool crowd! The staff was also incredibly helpful and accommodating for us hostel newbies. The comfortable beds and fresh breakfast added to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the property and convenient access to public transportation made exploring the island a breeze.
