I recently stayed at a cozy Detroit Lakes motel for a weekend getaway. the owners were warm and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. the location was excellent, just steps away from the beach and eateries. Check, in was hassle, free with great communication from Tim. the room had a charming vibe with a lovely outdoor seating area. Plus, the pet, friendly policy was convenient for our furry companion.

Had a blast chilling by the lake, with cool cafes nearby. Loved the smooth check, in, texting for ETA rocks! Tim was a gem, fixed up everything. Adored the patio set outside for drinks or a brew. A coffee joint a stone's throw away is a win. Pet, friendly setup was ace, our pup had a blast in the field. Super laid, back and chill vibe.

Cooking gear was so, so, could use an upgrade. That sharp knife was anything but!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. The check-in process was unique, as it took place in the parking lot and I was checked in via a personal laptop, but the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The room itself was clean and had up-to-date furnishings, including hardwood floors and a leather futon. I loved the small kitchenette and the fireplace, which added a cozy feel to the room. The hotel was conveniently located across from a beautiful lake, and there was a cute table and chairs outside the room for enjoying the summer months. the customer service and facilities were top-notch.

Great location near beautiful trails, apple orchards, and lakes. Convenient on-site coffee shop. Friendly staff provided excellent service. The motel has been nicely updated. Owner was very helpful and attentive. The lake across the road was stunning.

Cooking implements were minimal and needed improvement. Chairs were hard and uncomfortable.
