just got back from a trip to detroit lakes and stayed at a cute inn that totally exceeded my expectations. the staff was friendly and accommodating, even though the check-in process was unique. the location was central and the owners knew all the best places to visit. overall, a great night stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. The check-in process was unique, as it took place in the parking lot and I was checked in via a personal laptop, but the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. The room itself was clean and had up-to-date furnishings, including hardwood floors and a leather futon. I loved the small kitchenette and the fireplace, which added a cozy feel to the room. The hotel was conveniently located across from a beautiful lake, and there was a cute table and chairs outside the room for enjoying the summer months. the customer service and facilities were top-notch.

Great location near beautiful trails, apple orchards, and lakes. Convenient on-site coffee shop. Friendly staff provided excellent service. The motel has been nicely updated. Owner was very helpful and attentive. The lake across the road was stunning.

Cooking implements were minimal and needed improvement. Chairs were hard and uncomfortable.
