i had a lovely stay at this cozy spot during valentine's day. my previous visit to detroit lakes was nice, but this time exceeded my expectations with stunning lake views and a well-appointed kitchenette perfect for late-night snacks. the welcoming atmosphere from the owners truly made it special.

The location was ideal, right across from the beach and the lake, making it easy for morning walks. The room was comfortable and had all the necessary amenities for my stay, and the friendliness of Tim made check-in a breeze.

The air conditioner blows directly at the bed, which made it tough for a good night's sleep!!! Also, the lack of scenic views from the room was disappointing. And honestly, the parking lot could use some sprucing up!!!

The Double Room offered a cozy stay, though views were limited to the parking lot or a neighboring house. I appreciated being able to relax by the beach, just a short walk away. The air conditioning could be disruptive for light sleepers as it’s positioned close to the bed. Ideal for couples or solo travelers looking for a nearby lakeside experience.

Enjoyed morning coffee from the on-site shop while chatting with the friendly owners. The kitchenette was perfect for preparing meals, and proximity to the beach made for a relaxing stay. Truly a hidden gem!

Ope, I gotta tell ya, the views of the lake were absolutely breathtaking! Tim was so friendly, makin' us feel right at home. Loved brewin' some morning joe from the cute little on-site coffee shop. And with the beach just a hop away, make sure ya pack sunscreen! Can’t wait to come back in summer!

The rooms are like cozy mini apartments. really cute and spotlessly cleen. the lack of an elevator might be tough for some guests, especially with heavy luggage.

It was just a perfect match for a weekend vacation in Detroit Lakes with excellent value for money. I enjoyed some delicious morning coffee from the on-site shop while relaxing on the deck. Definitely check out the coffee shop for a nice lakeside vibe!
