The pool is absolutely stunning and the perfect place to unwind! I loved relaxing on the balcony with a beautiful view. The staff made us feel so welcome and even brought some extra smiles to our days!

The Hilton Galveston Island Resort offers a fantastic seafront location with spacious and comfortable rooms. The beds are soft, ensuring a good night's sleep. The pool area is inviting, making it a great spot for relaxation after a day of exploring the island.

Unbeatable access to beach, dining, and fun attractions

I had an amazing time walking around the area since the beach is just across the street, and it's a short stroll to lots of restaurants like Landry's Seafood House and Blake's Bistro that are only a few steps away; plus, the stunning Seawall is less than a 10-minute walk and offers a beautiful view. The accommodations were comfortable and the staff was friendly, making it feel like home away from home; however, the decor could use a bit of an update.

The property itself was clean and in a convenient location, which was a definite plus. there were several issues that impacted our overall satisfaction. Upon check-in, we encountered a series of mishaps - from being given the wrong room initially to waiting an extended period for a room change. The staff at the front desk seemed disorganized and unhelpful during this process, which was frustrating, especially with tired kids in tow. The room itself was cozy but not as described, with a disappointing view of the parking lot instead of the promised ocean view. The cleanliness of the bathroom left something to be desired, with water damage on the door and brown spots in some areas. Room service was another letdown, with plastic utensils for a pricey meal and missing items from orders. The lack of attention to detail in these aspects was disappointing for the price paid. the pool area was enjoyable, and the location offered easy access to nearby restaurants and the beach. The shuttle service to the cruise port was convenient, although it came with an unexpected charge. while there were some positives to our stay at the Hilton, the overall experience was marred by issues with service, room quality, and amenities. For the price paid, we had hoped for a more seamless and enjoyable stay.

The hotel has potential, but it falls short. Rooms clean, staff helpful, but the bedding was uncomfortable and poorly made. Unexpected noise disturbances interrupted sleep. Amenities, like the pool, offer nice features but lack indoor activities to beat the Texas heat. Breakfast was decent, with a standout omelette bar. the absence of basic items, like tissues and a phone directory, was disappointing. More concerning was the questionable cleanliness in the bathrooms and lack of timely housekeeping. A significant renovation is needed. While the location is convenient, it ultimately doesn't align with the Hilton name.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the sheets were clean, which added to a relaxing atmosphere. The room had a noticeable odor, originating from a dirty diaper hidden behind the sofa, making it less appealing. The A/C unit was loud and disruptive at night. Despite being right across from the beach, the noise from early renovations was bothersome. The cleanliness of the facility was commendable overall, but the room could use better attention to detail. While the pool area was enjoyable, we noticed some cleanliness issues in the water.

Breakfast tasted great but felt overpriced. Our room? Extremely dirty, with no response from management after I reached out. The incredible view and nice pool made up for some things, especially since it was open late and the kids had a blast. a major safety issue arose when someone entered my room unexpectedly. This was not handled well, and the manager's attempts to compensate felt insincere. Aaron did his best to help, but the overall experience was a mix of highs and lows that left much to be desired.

I was in a room that had mold on the curtains by the AC, and it was making me nervous since my husband is allergic. When I mentioned it, no one acted until I escalated. Really disappointing experience overall!
