loved the new and clean hotel - with a super-friendly staff. the location was clutch - just a block from pier 39, and had a nifty pool - fire pits, and bar. and let's not forget the cozy beds, and the cool insight into how easy and close the food and fun was. plus, the breakfast was bomb, and the staff went the extra mile.

The views from the higher-category rooms were absolutely stunning, with unobstructed bay views that made for an incomparable setting. However, the noise from the road, bus depot, and people walking by less than 20 feet from my bed detracted from the overall experience. A memorable interaction was when housekeeping insisted on entering the room despite the "do not disturb" sign clearly displayed.

The noise levels at the hotel were extremely disruptive, particularly with the early morning trash pickup.
