Had a work trip the week of Thanksgiving and I was pleased with the location, just a short walk to restaurants, and there’s a Starbucks next door, very convenient for my coffee fix. The staff were really courteous and helpful, especially at breakfast, which made the mornings much easier to tackle.

It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but for the experience, I guess it was acceptable.

The made-to-order breakfast was a delightful highlight, with a variety of options that made mornings enjoyable.

I encountered an issue with the reading light being out, which was a bit inconvenient during my stay.

The beds were comfy as, but the lack of a proper sitting area for more than two people wasn't ideal. The made-to-order breakfast was a real treat, though!

Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Salt Lake City Downtown was like checking into a stylish friend’s home, my room came with a fridge, microwave, and light-tight curtains, perfect for snoozing like a baby. Plus, I was only a quick 5-minute drive away from the main attractions, saving time for more important things, like indulging in the hotel’s delicious cookies!

The good, the bad, and the unexpected

Check-in was a breeze thanks to the friendly staff, allowing for much-needed rest after a long day. Rooms are spacious, modern, and clean. Proximity to key attractions is a plus. On the downside, I faced issues with the key card and double charges due to reservation mishaps. Still, I'd stay again!

Despite the decent amenities, we encountered trouble with the room's reading light being out, and limited casting options for the TV pushed us to use other devices for entertainment. Plus, the neighborhood had a sketchy vibe, with concerns about safety due to nearby abandoned properties and some undesirable elements around, making evening walks feel a bit risky.

Rooms are spacious and super comfy. night audit staff need attitude adjustments.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, loved the blackout curtains for a great sleep. It had a fridge and microwave which was super handy. The decor felt modern and fresh. The mountain views were a highlight! Wish the hot tub had better hours though. Definitely a comfy place to crash after a long day.

Free wi-fi worked great, and staff were friendly. Wish bar/lounge was open later.

The hotel offers a fantastic location downtown and is notably well-run. the cleanliness and modern decor stood out during my visit. Staff members were notably attentive, especially Lavdie, who provided excellent service during meals. A limited hot tub schedule was a minor downside, but overall, it was a great stay.

My kids wished the pool hours were longer.
