This hotel was conveniently located, being close to both the Interstate and downtown attractions. We could easily walk to all the major places we wanted to visit. The rooms were recently remodeled and clean, and we appreciated the attention to detail. The staff was friendly and provided great service throughout our stay. The basic amenities were all there, and we especially liked that the breakfast in the morning was hot and free.

I had a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Charleston! The room upgrades were fantastic - modern and well-designed. The bed was clean and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I appreciated the added amenities like the microwave, refrigerator, and ironing board. The selection of bathroom soaps was a nice touch.

While my bed was comfy, my son's bed squeaked every time he moved. Additionally, the room only provided 2 washcloths and lacked towels and a trash can, but it was still very clean and pleasant.

The carpets in the hallways looked stained and worn, and there were holes in the padding underneath that posed a trip hazard. It would have been helpful to have a sign on the outside of the building to easily locate the hotel.
