During our Christmas stay, we were impressed by the super friendly staff at this hotel. From the front desk to the breakfast ladies, everyone was nice and welcoming. the rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. the location of the hotel was also a big plus, as it was conveniently close to lots of stores and Lake Norman. Additionally, the free Wednesday dinner, with delicious lasagna and salad, was a delightful surprise and made our stay even more enjoyable.

On the downside, this hotel could use some improvement in terms of cleanliness. Despite the modern lobby area, our room had a slight smell and the linen on one of the beds even smelled like wet dog.

The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly. They took the time to inform us about potential weather changes and even reminded us to put our convertible top up. It was a nice touch that made us feel cared for. Additionally, the location of the hotel was great as it was close to the Casa Montecristo, which was the main reason for our stay. the staff and convenient location were the best aspects of our stay.

One thing that we didn't appreciate was receiving a note under our door stating that our room wouldn't be cleaned because it was apparently late in the morning. We found this quite strange, as it was only around 10:45 am.
