The bed was super comfortable, providing a great night's sleep for our romantic escape. The location of the hotel was ideal, with easy access to key attractions and amenities. Additionally, the staff was pleasant and helpful, ensuring a positive experience throughout our stay.

There were a few negative aspects of our experience. Firstly, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in our non-smoking room upon arrival, although the front desk quickly addressed the issue and moved us to a different room.

This hotel is conveniently located in a safe area close to the interstate. It's a great base for exploring Puducah and the nearby casino. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast is good. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the linens and towels are of great quality.

During my Christmas stay, I had a delightful experience at this hotel. the breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. the rooms were well-maintained and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the staff at the front desk were extremely courteous and helpful, ensuring that all of our needs were met.

There were a few disappointments during my stay. the carpet in our room was damp and the room felt humid upon arrival, possibly indicating that it wasn't properly prepared for our stay.

Two aspects that could be improved are the lack of working electrical outlets and the need to request daily bed making. We found that some of the electrical outlets, particularly those on the table lamps, were not functional, which was inconvenient.

The location was perfect, being close to the casino and in a safe area. Lastly, the rooms were well-furnished and equipped with basic amenities, including a spa tub, and were cleaned regularly to ensure fresh towels were always provided.

The shower had excellent water pressure and temperature. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and there was a nice, spacious lawn area for pets. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and organization of the property.

I was a bit disappointed that the jetted tub suite did not have the tub in the room itself, but it was still a nice feature. Additionally, I assumed I would be able to log into my streaming accounts on the TV, but it was not a smart TV.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Metropolis for a weekend getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help. The room was spotlessly clean, and the pool and hot tub area were well-maintained and stocked with plenty of towels. The highlight of my stay was the delicious breakfast that was included. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future!

As low-budget travelers, we were thrilled with the variety of options at the hotel's complimentary breakfast, including pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and more. It was the best breakfast we've had at any hotel!
