The Ocean Lodge had a cool retro beach vibe and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. As a budget traveler, I appreciated the reasonable prices for the area. The rooms had ample storage with chest of drawers and a large closet, perfect for longer stays. The location was great, just across the road from the beach and not far from the pier. The decor and cleanliness of the rooms were top-notch. I also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and cookies in the reception area. my experience at the Ocean Lodge Santa Monica Beach Hotel was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Santa Monica, and I couldn't be happier with the value I got for my money. The room was clean, without any carpets, and I had a great view of the ocean and mountains from my second-floor window. The location was perfect, right across the street from Hotel California and just a short walk to the Santa Monica Pier. Plus, there was a Starbucks just half a block away. The best part, though, was the amazing staff. They were friendly, attentive, and made me feel like I was part of their family.

When it comes to the breakfast selection, there was room for improvement. The options were limited, and it would have been nice to have a wider variety of choices available.

the location was absolutely perfect - just a short walk to both the beach and the mall, and there was even a park right next to it. It truly made my trip to Santa Monica extra enjoyable. Secondly, the rooms were great - I stayed in a room with a partial view of the ocean and it was so lovely waking up to that every morning. Lastly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure that everything was taken care of. All in all, this hotel provided excellent value for the price.

The only minor issue I encountered was that the parking was a bit tight and there was an additional charge for it. However, this was just a small inconvenience in an otherwise fantastic stay.

The apartments and furniture had a slightly old-fashioned feel, which may not be to everyone's taste. Additionally, there were limited parking spaces available for guests, which was a challenge for us as we had a mini van.

We chose Ocean Lodge Santa Monica Beach because it offered a room configuration that worked well for our family. With two older boys, it was great to have a room with two doubles and a separate single bed. The hotel was functional and well-maintained, with helpful and efficient staff. It was conveniently located, just a block away from Tongva Park and the pier. The room felt clean and comfortable, with a spacious bed and a big shower. We also appreciated the amenities like the ice machine, fridge, and safe. The hotel felt safe with gated entrances to the upper floors.
