so, we checked in at 3:30pm, and guess what? the room wasn’t even ready! the alternative room they provided was open and unclean. also, trying to use the shuttle service was an absolute joke—book 24h in advance? ridiculous. i expected at least a complimentary drink for the trouble, but i guess that’s asking too much here.

the holiday inn express was fantastic! the staff helped us with the airport shuttle, which made everything smooth. our standard queen room was spacious and super comfortable for the three of us. the breakfast buffet was the best we had on our trip, with fresh fruit and warm cinnamon buns. plus, the indoor pool was a fun way to unwind after a long day!

However, the check-in was a bit of a circus—room not ready, like waiting for a bus that never comes! And the room felt like a sauna. I’m pretty sure I could’ve boiled an egg in there.

Rooms weren't ready until later than check-in time!!! Kids swim camp during peak hours restricted pool access!!! Shuttle service needing 24-hour notice is less than ideal!!! Consider a better cleaning protocol for rooms!!!

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, a handy fitness center, and a relaxing indoor pool. The staff even helped me discover great places to explore on my first stay. I highly recommend it for a cozy getaway. I’m definitely coming back for a romantic escape!
