One drawback is that there are not many restaurants within walking distance from the hotel.

The reception staff could have been more knowledgeable about local recommendations. We asked for oyster recommendations and they were not able to provide any suggestions, even though there was a great place just a couple of minutes away.

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, and there were extra blankets and pillows in the closet. We appreciated the daily supply of freshly laundered towels and the large flat-screen TV in the room. The included breakfast had a delicious variety of foods, and the Keuring coffee pot in the room and the 24 complimentary hot beverages at the coffee bar were a nice touch. The complimentary freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and basket of fresh apples at the front desk were a delightful surprise. The pool was sparkling clean, and the self-service laundry room was large and clean. The comfortable lounge area with pretty fireplace provided a nice ambiance.
