the room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, making it feel like something out of a magazine. the shower was a standout feature, with convenient Shampoo/Conditioner and Bodywash pumps. the highlight was definitely the comfortable King-size bed, which had the best bedding and pillows. Another reason why I returned to this hotel was the outstanding service for my Service Dog, Rocco. the staff remembered him and were very accommodating. the hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and provided a relaxing atmosphere. the complimentary breakfast was exceptional, offering a variety of healthy options like fresh fruit, along with delicious eggs, sausage, and warm cinnamon rolls.

We also appreciated the dual shades in the room, which kept out the light perfectly.

I absolutely loved that the Holiday Inn Express & Suites provided a variety of healthy breakfast options, including fresh fruit and delicious warm cinnamon rolls. They also had liquid coffeemate and even offered pumpkin spice flavor! Perfect for starting the day off right. The staff was super friendly and the front desk was very helpful. The location was convenient, close to Lincoln Park and Detroit, and the employees were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and well-designed, making me feel like I was in a magazine. I requested a quiet room, and I was pleased to find that it was indeed quiet. The complimentary breakfast exceeded my expectations with a variety of healthy options and delicious warm cinnamon rolls. I had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express in Southgate on a leisure trip for three nights. The hotel exceeded my expectations in several ways. the breakfast was impressive for a grab and go option. They offered a variety of choices including cereal, oatmeal, muffins, and even hot sandwiches. The staff were amazing, providing excellent service and offering helpful advice on takeout options and nearby stores. The rooms were spacious, clean, and featured comfortable beds. Additionally, the pillow selection, with a choice of soft or firm pillows, made for a restful night's sleep.

I would highly recommend this hotel.

The service desk at Holiday Inn Express went above and beyond to solve a major problem I had during my stay. They turned it into a minor issue and resolved it right away. The location of the hotel was also fantastic, making it convenient for exploring the area. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which was delicious, and the young lady in charge of the kitchen was exceptional. She provided a top-notch dining experience. I was so satisfied with my stay that I even extended it.

I did have a few drawbacks during my stay. Some of the front desk staff were rude and unhelpful when I called with issues.
