I recently stayed at Holiday Inn in downtown San Jose for 3 nights on a business trip. The hotel was conveniently located near public transit, making it easy to get around. The surrounding area had several restaurants and a 711 within walking distance. The lobby and rooms were surprisingly comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bed was cozy, and I had a good night's sleep. The breakfast offered was very good, with a variety of choices.

The packaged sandwich from the convenience area was surprisingly delicious, satisfying my hunger before the restaurant opened.

Additionally, the window didn't lock properly, making me feel unsafe as a solo female traveler.

Really welcoming reception staff - great when you've missed your flight. They looked after my bags and pointed me towards nearby Light Rail. Great service. Young people-friendly.
