Upon checking into Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Downtown, I was impressed by the spacious suite, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, HD television, and a separate living area. The convenience of having a stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher made my stay feel like a home away from home. The lobby's view of the golf center and board games and puzzles added a welcoming touch to the atmosphere.

The only minor inconvenience during my stay was the number of kids at the pool. Although it didn't affect my overall experience, it may be something to consider for those seeking a quieter poolside atmosphere.

During my transit stay at Homewood Suites By Hilton San Diego Downtown/Bayside, I appreciated the fully equipped kitchen in the suites, which made it convenient to prepare my own meals and save on dining out. the complimentary continental breakfast provided a great start to my day. Not to mention, the location was extremely convenient, with easy access to the Coaster Santa Fe and County Center/Little Italy within walking distance.

The only minor downside was the noise outside our second-floor room early in the morning, as well as the sound of water draining through the pipes from the upper floors. Although it did not significantly affect my overall experience, it was a slight inconvenience.

This hotel was a fantastic base for our trip, staying 5 nights to explore felt just like the right length for a trip to see the main sites with a little down time to relax too. The hotel feels really modern and nicely finished, with very friendly staff. The one bed apartment was comfortable with plenty of space alongside a large TV complete with streaming services. The breakfast had enough choice that most people would find something to suit them. The 2-hour social with food, drink, and outdoor seating areas were nice to relax in. The location is great, close to the coast and near cafes and Little Italy.

We loved the breakfast included in the room rate, perfect for our family as vegetarians and vegans. The suite was spacious and comfortable, great for a family setting. The location was ideal, close to attractions like the USS Midway and Maritime Museum. The nearby restaurants on the Pier side were a bonus.

my recent stay at a hotel in san diego was fantastic. homewood suites truly exceeded my expectations with their spacious rooms, convenient location near the bay and little italy, and the evening mixers with wine or beer were a delightful touch. the staff was absolutely wonderful, making my experience even more enjoyable.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, with easy access to the ocean and a short walk to Little Italy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and spacious. One of the best aspects was the great view from the room, it was really enjoyable to wake up to such a beautiful sight.

There were a couple of negative aspects to our stay. We were disappointed to find out that valet parking was the only option available, and the price for it was quite expensive.

The suite I stayed in at Homewood Suites was spacious, clean, and well-stocked. I loved having two large screen TVs and the location of the hotel was central to restaurants and attractions. The front desk staff, particularly Dan, Nick, Arianna, and Rosie, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. They even suggested a free ride service instead of Uber, which saved me money. The free breakfast and happy hour were also a nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location close to popular attractions and transport links. Valet parking is available, and trash can easily be disposed of by guests. Breakfast offerings are impressive.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect for exploring the main sites near the bay. It was super close to all the activity of Little Italy and right in the center of it all. The service at this place was top-notch, with room service, dry cleaning, and even bicycle hire available. I was really impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The amenities provided were fantastic, including a kitchenette and a flat-screen TV. The staff here were friendly and accommodating, always making sure I had everything I needed. I had a wonderful experience at this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Great value for the money. the hotel offered free upgrades and breakfast, which was great for our family. the hotel's location was perfect -- close to the harbor and within walking distance of cafes and shops. One of the best parts was the amazing view from our room!

The hotel ran out of bottled water on the day we arrived. the valet parking was very expensive and there weren't any other options offered.

We stayed one night on both occasions and absolutely loved the two-bedroom suites at Homewood Suites. The handicap accessible rooms were amazing, offering plenty of space, and even the regular double queen room with a pull-out bed was fantastic. The convenience of using the app for check-in was a game-changer – no need to talk to anyone after a long day of traveling. The location was perfect, with a Jack in the Box within walking distance for late-night cravings, and some amazing restaurants just around the corner. Can't wait to stay here again!
