Beautiful room, beautiful view with spacious accommodations and the option for a higher floor to enjoy stunning scenery.

The view from the room was nice. Staff was rude during our stay, which was frustrating.

Unbeatable access to fun attractions and tasty dining options!

During my weekend stay, I was thrilled to discover that many exciting attractions were just a short walk away, like the Louisiana Boardwalk, which is less than a 15-minute stroll, and the vibrant Red River District, about a 20-minute walk; in addition, I enjoyed indulging in delicious meals at nearby venues such as the 8oz Burger Bar, just a few steps away, and JB's Cafe, also nearby, which made my dining experiences super convenient and enjoyable. My room was spacious and very clean, and the lobby had plenty of food options; however, the resort charges did seem a bit excessive, but overall, the surrounding area made my stay truly memorable!

I couldn't believe the mess when I checked in—my room smelled awful and I was shocked to find it was a smoking one. Plus, there wasn’t even a coffee maker! Super disappointing overall. Not coming back anytime soon!

Check-in and check-out staff were friendly. No issues with the room—comfortable bed, pillows, and great river view. Size was ample for moving around. the absence of a coffee pot or water was notable. Front desk service left much to be desired; staff seemed disinterested, even rude. The resort fee is absurd and should be bundled into the room cost. Technology amenities lagged; no USB ports were available. Dirty dishes from previous guests were a turn-off. Valet parking rules about luggage carts felt inconvenient. On top of that, there was a lingering smell in the room that wasn't addressed. This hotel has potential but needs significant improvements to service and facility standards.

The rooms were huge and the beds felt like clouds! I loved the personal concierge who was just a text away to answer all my questions. Plus, the food at the Burger Bar was absolutely delicious!

Comfortable Stay with Amenities Needed for Improvement

While the beds were comfortable and the location ideal, amenities fell short. Housekeeping was lacking during our stay, resulting in a buildup of trash. The bathroom had several maintenance issues, but the overall cleanliness was appreciated. A good choice if these concerns are addressed.

Despite not having breakfast, the place was clean with spacious rooms. The nonsmoking policy was strictly enforced. The location for medical visits was convenient.

The staff's rudeness and aggressive behavior towards guests were shocking. The power outage on my birthday disrupted the entire stay.

Staff interactions were the highlight, especially the friendly registration check-in lady and the excellent restaurant teams. The spacious room had a comfy mattress and a safe for my laptop, but the dirty towels and musty smell were disappointing. Hallways needed attention; they smelled terrible. Maintenance issues, like broken elevators and poor thermostat control, marred the experience. I encountered stains on the mattress and a lack of thorough housekeeping. No coffee pot or microwave made things inconvenient. All said, though, the burgers at 8oz were top-notch! Would I return? Maybe, if they improved the upkeep.

I noticed some hairs and crumbs in the bed, affecting the overall cleanliness. Room service was prompt, but there was a notable lack of housekeeping throughout my stay. The general atmosphere was nice, and staff members were mostly friendly despite a few negative interactions.

Tasting tandoori wonders at Village Square Buffet felt like a flavor fiesta! Service with a smile at Flying Heart Brewing & Pub and the homey vibes at Frozen Pirogue added local charm. Saltgrass Steak House sizzled with Southern flair, making every bite bliss.

The room had rustic lamps and a mirrored charm, but the toilet bowl was scratched! The dust-filled vent in the restroom packed a punch.
