I got great value for my money at this hotel! The room was really comfortable and spacious, and the staff treated me with kindness and helpfulness throughout my stay. The location was also convenient, with some great steakhouses and diners nearby.

Hotel breakfast could have been better, with more variety and options to choose from.

Located in a convenient area to California, the Hourglass Hotel has a good breakfast buffet with waffle machines in the eating area. The rooms are wonderful and on certain nights there are events in which guests love staying. The hotel is situated near Famoso raceway, making it a great place to stay for race fans.

The air conditioning in the rooms struggles to cool the area adequately.

Friendly and helpful staff made my stay at Hourglass Hotel a pleasant experience. I was greeted warmly by a young man at the front desk who went above and beyond to assist me. The buffet breakfast provided a variety of options to start the day off right. The pool was well-maintained and offered a relaxing spot to soak up the sun. Ample parking was available throughout my stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this venue. The room was spacious and had a luxurious mattress, which made for a comfortable night's sleep. The location was great, with easy access to some amazing events. Additionally, the service was top-notch; from housekeeping to front desk and even security. The housekeeper was very courteous and always kept our room clean and neat. The pool and jacuzzi area was also fantastic.

I recently stayed at Hourglass Hotel for a 4-week stay and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. The room was a good size and the facilities were fine. I particularly enjoyed the nice swimming pool area, even though it wasn't heated in October. The food at the restaurant was also fine and I liked the balcony view of the scenery around the pool. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We loved the open interior grounds of the hotel, with our patio so close to the pool and hot tub. The facilities were very clean and family friendly. The hotel had an awesome modern, yet mid-century vibe that was nostalgic and comfortable. The staff were kind and accommodating.

Nothing that I didn't like.

This was a great hotel for a stopover on our drive from Sequoia to the South. We didn't venture out of the hotel, but it didn't matter because everything we needed was right there. The recent renovation was evident in the modern and stylish design, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly and helpful service. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and surprisingly spacious. Despite not being a new hotel, they definitely keep up with maintenance to a high standard. The beautiful style, landscaping, pool, and garden added to the overall charm of the place. The front desk staff were always cheerful and eager to assist. And finally, the bed and AC were exceptional - the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the AC worked perfectly to keep us cool. The pastries provided for breakfast were a tasty treat as well. we had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose Hourglass Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection again.

The room was spacious with a welcoming modern feel. The breakfast was better than most hotels and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel had a good location and the staff was polite and courteous.

My recent stay at Hourglass Hotel was great! I was in Bakersfield for a nearby event and the hotel served its purpose perfectly. The location was quiet and the pool area was really nice. I also enjoyed the good breakfast and had a fantastic dining experience at the on-site restaurant, The Bull Shed.

The comfy bed and the nice breakfast were the best aspects of my stay at this hotel. the bed was so comfortable, I had a great night's sleep during my Christmas vacation. the breakfast was a nice touch, with a good variety of options to choose from.

On the downside, the bathroom needed some maintenance. There were rust stains and the sink was missing part of the drain surround.

I loved the modern and comfortable feel of this hotel. The filtered water counter and plush towels made me feel pampered. The bed was great and the staff were helpful when I needed extra toiletries. I'd recommend this hotel.

The hotel provided great value for money and was located in a nice area. The staff were attentive to detail and the rooms had a nice garden view. The included breakfast was also a great perk, especially with the good pastries.

The hotel had a fabulous pool area, perfect for relaxing in the evenings. I also enjoyed the on, site bar, which served delicious food and even had a riding bull. the location was great, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance and even an all, you, can, eat place with an arcade for the kids.

There were some maintenance issues with the hotel, such as a broken entry door and poorly lit hallways. the bathroom in our room also needed some attention and the water for the shower was only lukewarm.
