Just a proper fit for a short layover in Chicago with good value for price. Great location for downtown attractions.

The location is solid, but that’s where the positives largely end. The room was clean, though I encountered maintenance issues: a broken toilet and a refrigerator that didn’t cool. Dusty fixtures and unkempt areas, like the filthy top of the refrigerator, detracted from the experience. Breakfast was chaotic. Long lines hindered efficiency, and food options lacked warmth. Staff were friendly, but organization needs major improvement. The tiny lobby and pool fail to impress. I expect more from a brand with this reputation. With so many options nearby, I’d suggest exploring alternatives. Make it better, and I might reconsider.

Hyatt Place Chicago/Downtown offers a prime location with easy access to popular attractions. The friendly staff, particularly Rory at the bar, enhances the experience with excellent service. Enjoy the delicious breakfast and the convenient in-and-out parking. a solid choice for a city getaway!

The rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for the kids to run around. Breakfast had a nice mix of options, even some fresh fruit and Tazo tea, which was a hit with my wife.

Not the cheapest option out there, but worth it for the comfort.

The staff was absolutely amazing, especially the lovely girl at the front desk who had the brightest smile! Breakfast was a delicious highlight every morning, full of great options and prepared with care. The location was perfect for exploring the city, making it easy to get to attractions and the airport.

Perfectly Central for Exploring the Best of Chicago!

This hotel is a fantastic base for discovering Chicago, with major attractions like Millennium Park, the Art Institute, and the Willis Tower—all within a pleasant 15-minute stroll. I truly enjoyed the convenience of having great dining options just steps away, like GRK Greek Kitchen and Naf Naf Grill, making it easy to grab a bite after a day of wandering the River Walk or relaxing at Maggie Daley Park. The friendly staff, comfortable rooms, and tasty breakfast made our stay even more enjoyable, but the breakfast area could use better organization during peak times.

A 24, hour desk welcomed me, the Market had great grab, and, go options, and the Bar served delicious food. The hotel's peaceful vibe was perfect for enjoying the fitness center and indoor pool.

Sleeping on rocks would have been comfier than the bed.

Some staff were fantastic, while bar service was a bit off. A few noise disturbances from neighboring rooms were annoying, but overall, it had enough positives to make a return visit likely.

The location of this hotel is stunning in downtown Chicago, walking distance to everything. Rooms are comfortable, but lacking a microwave. Glass bathroom door doesn't provide enough privacy. Ordering food delivery to the lobby is convenient. The shower design is unique and spacious. Bed could be more comfortable. Breakfast was top-notch with friendly staff. Staff was a highlight, but room prices felt high. Close to local attractions.

Omg, the breakfast here is to die for 😍! yummy options and super filling. Room had limited sunlight 🌞, but comfy and spacious. Staff, especially maria, were so friendly. Gave it a 👍 despite the small drawback.
