We had a fantastic two-night getaway surprise for my wife's birthday. From the first contact with the staff, they were delightful and personable. They arranged a surprise birthday setup in our room, organized a couples massage, and made dinner reservations. the room was spacious with a fireplace, jet tub, and a beautiful view. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with a choice of omelets or French toast. the location was perfect, close to the battlefield and downtown area.

There were a few small issues, such as slippers only being available in smaller sizes and a minor leak in the jacuzzi drain plug. the lack of windows that could open made the room a bit stuffy.

Complimentary champagne and snacks made our anniversary extra special. The staff was friendly and there were lots of surprises upon arrival and checkout. We would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at a charming historic inn in a beautiful location. The room I chose was located in a separate house near the inn and it was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a glass of Champagne, which was a nice touch. The dinner at the inn exceeded my expectations, with delicious food, excellent service, and a great selection of wines at reasonable prices. To top it off, I had the best seat in the house on the upstairs patio, where I enjoyed watching the July 4th fireworks. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this inn. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was fantastic, just a short distance from the historic battlefield. Plus, it had a rich history, being used as an operating room during the Civil War. the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. the food was absolutely amazing, with delicious meals that left us wanting more.

There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. the slippers provided in our room were all ladies sized, which didn't work for me.

The facility served as an operating room and recovery station for Confederate soldiers during the war, and it was also a stop on the Underground Railroad. The room we stayed in was quaint and cozy, with high ceilings, a jacuzzi tub, a gas fireplace, and a comfortable four-poster bed. There were also guest gathering areas upstairs, downstairs, and on an upper deck, where we could relax in our provided bath robes and slippers. The location of the inn, outside of the city limits but near a busy intersection, was surprisingly peaceful. The inn is about 2 miles away from downtown Gettysburg. The staff were very courteous and the breakfast provided was delicious and filling.
